Social Media Executive

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Social Media Executive to drive and execute our social strategy at Gigi & Olive. The candidate should be creative and organised, have a keen eye for detail, love content creation and be interested in all things Weddings, Bridal and Gifting. You will be responsible for creating and implementing our day-to-day content across all social channels, with a particular focus on TikTok and Instagram, as well as the creation of content featured on our email campaigns and paid marketing. You will work closely with the Founder, Georgie, to curate and implement our social strategy whilst maintaining the brand’s tone of voice and values.
Responsibilities:
- Create, plan and execute daily content across our social channels: Meta, Pinterest, and LinkedIn, with a particular focus on TikTok.
- Campaign creation around key dates and product launches; taking full ownership of our social media content calendar.
- Work alongside our paid marketing agency to deliver the best-performing ROI content in our ad accounts.
- Communicate with followers on the platforms, including responding to queries, questions and DMs.
- Follow the brand’s tone of voice and create a consistent story around our values.
- Manage organic social collaborations and influencer requests.
- Work alongside the Founder on executing brand collaborations, influencer partnerships and affiliate marketing.
- Continuously improve our best practices by capturing and analysing the appropriate metrics and insights.
- Following KPIs and analysing data to report on results and present recommendations for future campaigns.
Skills:
- At least 3+ years of experience in social media execution and content creation, preferably for an e-commerce, wedding, or luxury business.
- Hands on experience in desirable content creation planning and developing social media campaigns.
- Excellent copywriting & proofreading skills.
- Experience working with Adobe, Canva & Klaviyo.
- Knowledge of best practices across all social media channels.
- Problem-solving and positive attitude.
Extra info:
- This role is based in our West London studio, with the option to work 1-2 days a week remotely. A lot of content will be created in person behind the scenes, so it’s important to be on-site a min of 3 days a week.
- Reporting directly to the Founder, Georgie.
- Holiday: 25 days + bank holidays.

A note from the Founder
We are a small team and this will be the 1st marketing role we have hired; the rest of our wonderful team of 7 are on production and manufacturing with 1 person managing customer service. I have personally managed all our social media over the past 5 years and I'm really excited to find someone to nurture and grow our channels further.
